We will also visit one of the largest caves in Europe, canyons with turquoise waters and a stunning castle built inside a rock … will you miss it?

When you arrive to the beautiful capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, I suggest you get lost. Walk and walk and get used to its beautiful well-kept streets, full of color. Sit down to eat in one of the many small restaurants and observe around you. Do not forget to climb the Ljubljana Castle to have incredible views. Take this first day to know the city.
We rent a car to go to the caves of Postojna (39min by car). There we will take the Two Adventures tour where we will enter to one of the largest caves in Europe. There you get on to a train-type cart and enter this amazing world under the earth. Really wonderful. After the tour to the caves we can enter the Predjama castle that is right there. Is castle built inside a giant rock that will undoubtedly leave you frozen because of its beauty.
From Ljubljana we go to a very famous summer resort. The jewel of Slovenia, Lake Bled (40 min by car) where it has in the middle a small island with a church and on top of a cliff is the castle of Bled. Many families enjoy this lake on their vacations since not only you can bathe in this beautiful lake but you can also make beautiful trekking, biking and rowing.
We took the car and we went to a place that we had heard a lot when we arrived at the town of Bled. The Vintgar gorge, which is a canyon with precious turquoise waters. You can be as long as you want, bathe in allowed places and take some very good pictures.
We rent a bike in the morning and go around the whole lake. Take as many pictures as you can because all of its angles look different. You can also go to the Castle of Bled and have a privileged view of the place. A wonderful viewpoint.
Relax and rest. Row to the middle of the lake and meet the island of the church. It is not very big but it is enough to house the Church of the Assumption in whose belfry there is a famous bell that they say brings good luck to those who make it sound. And of course, take as many photographs as you can and fill yourself with energy to return to the capital of Ljubljana.
